Hear from our Leaders
Mr Cheng Wai Keung
Chairman, SingHealth
SingHealth celebrates our 25th anniversary this year. Collectively, our institutions stand as an unwavering beacon of hope for our patients with our strong and rich legacy, remaining steadfast in the pursuit of our mission to care and to heal.
Our patients are at the heart of all we do. We are pushing the boundaries of medicine by accelerating pioneering research and groundbreaking innovations to enhance care. Our journey of academic partnership with Duke-NUS Medical School over two decades has deepened our impact across clinical care, science and training.
Today, we match the excellence of global benchmarks as an Academic Medical Centre. Our institutions are consistently ranked among the best in the world, is testament to our growth from strength to strength. This is possible only with the dedication, determination and dynamism of our exceptional leaders and staff, who are driven by the singular desire to optimise the health outcomes and experience for our patients and their loved ones. On behalf of the SingHealth Board, I also wish to extend my deepest appreciation to Prof Thomas Coffman, Dean, Duke-NUS Medical School, for his sterling leadership and enduring commitment to the pursuit of academic medicine to drive impactful advancements in clinical practice.
I am confident that SingHealth is well-positioned to define tomorrow's medicine. With expanded infrastructure, leveraging cutting-edge technology and deepening the human touch that undergirds the way we deliver care, we will continue to transform healthcare delivery in the next 25 years and beyond.
